Quoting a little Widespread Panic as my title today.
My many readers, (Kristy and Laura), might not realize what a huge music buff I am. My Itunes library is a sight to behold. It is the most random, eclectic collection of songs you have ever seen. Most of which, anyone but me, would despise. If John Sidney happens to get our Ipods mixed up, he is destined for a day of torment. (Of course, his idea of great music is Winger, Great White, Skid Row and any other geniuses that might be included on an "80s Masters of Rock" compilation. Which means, that his musical criticisms do not carry any weight whatsoever with me.) I digress...
Anyway one of my favorite quotes is...

That kind of sums up my mood today. As the dog days of summer are winding down, I am trying to savor these last few days. Sleep late, catch the ice cream truck when it comes by, read some silly books and embrace the chaos of day to day life. Because in the words of one of my all-time favorite artists- Dave Matthews- "Celebrate we will for life is short but sweet for certain." So get a double scoop of ice cream today and listen to some Warrant in honor of John Sidney. Hope you are wasting your time in a fun way.

well...i have two lists on my blog: people i know and people i don't know. i put the people i don't know list at the bottom, so you'd have to scroll down pretty far to even know it's there! :)
and i just finished off my bowl (yes bowl, not scoop) of baskin robbins chocolate chip cookie dough...we have several gallons in our freezer...however, i will not be listening to any 80s rock groups for my bedtime music. while i do enjoy all types of music...that ain't one of them. minus poison. b/c who doesn't love poison?!?
